The Healthy eating Marathon is something fun, something exciting and something to give us all incredible results within a supportive online community

This will help to give you a feel of the Marathon, get acquainted with other participants and discuss your nutrition plan with your Captain.

An Introduction to Marathons

A way of life

When you begin a Marathon, you will master the skills that will help you enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle, based on our four Wellbeing Principles:

• Balanced nutrition
• Hydration regime
• Physical activity
• Rest & Sleep

Like any Marathon, we have laps that last 10 days each providing:

• Meal Plan, Snack ideas & Recipes
• Support & Accountability
• Exercise Routines
• Nutrition Advice

Then after a 4 day break, you can join the next lap, so that you are constantly improving, lap after lap.

Goals

Being part of a Marathon will help you:
• Improve the quality of your nutrition
• Manage your weight
• Optimise your body composition
• Look and feel better

The Team

Each Team consists of 9 people, the Captain and 8 participants which share a spirit of mutual support and healthy competition to help you achieve your desired results.

Teamwork makes it much easier for you to change your old eating habits and get to your target

• A lap of the Marathon lasts 10 days then repeats the following week

• The participants share their diet, weight and physical activity with the Captain (who runs the group)

• At the end of each day two participants are recognised and acknowledged by the  rest of the team for their success

• You have to be 18 years of age and over to participate

• Your Captain will help you put together your nutrition plan

• You will also need to follow a balanced and healthy lifestyle whilst keeping up with your hydration and activity levels

• You can invite friends to your team and make it even more fun!

The Captain

The Marathon Captain will:

• Organise the Marathon
• Share guidance on a daily basis
• Support the participants as a whole as well as individually

The Captain is also a team member and serves as a good example to everyone in the team.

Your Personal Plan

• Share your nutritional habits and general lifestyle with your Captain

• Tell them about one of  our typical days i.e., what you eat and drink throughout the day

• Your Captain will give you information on your personal protein and fiber requirements. They will also tell you about the number and structure of your daily meals, snacks, water intake levels, physical activity as well your rest and sleep regime

• During the first three laps, your programme will be adjusted and Optimised based on your progress

Questions & Answers

These results are after consistent, repeated ‘LAPS’ of the Marathon over a period of time. Losing Weight isnt a Sprint its a Marathon. Individual results will Vary’

A: Participation in the Marathon is free – all you need to do is to replace part of your daily meals with Herbalife Nutrition products.

A: You could invite your friends to the Basecamp Chat where they will meet your Captain who can answer their questions. 

A: Online Weight Loss Marathons are very popular and growing fast, and we are in constant need of new Captains. Talk to your Captain, to find out more.
