A way of life
When you begin a Marathon, you will
master the skills that will help you enjoy a
healthy and active lifestyle. They are
based on our four Wellbeing Principles:
• Balanced nutrition
• Hydration regime
• Physical activity
• Rest & Sleep
Goals
Being part of a Marathon will help you:
• Improve the quality of your nutrition
• Manage your weight
• Optimise your body composition
• Look and feel better



The Team
The Team consists of 9 participants, the
Captain and 8 participants which share a spirit of
mutual support and healthy competition to help
you achieve your desired results. Teamwork
makes it much easier for you to change your
old eating habits and get to your target weight!
Everyone loves Marathons, both the process and
the results, and there’s no doubt that you will too.
It’s fun, simple and magical!
The Captain
The Marathon Captain will:
• Organise the Marathon
• Share guidance on a daily basis
• Support the participants as a whole as
well as individually
The Captain is also a team member and
serves as a good example to everyone in
the team.
The Marathon Structure

Structure
• Each Team consists of 9 participants including
the Captain
• One of the participants (the most active and
motivated) can be appointed to be an
Assistant Captain
• The Assistant Captain can bring in new
participants to the team and gradually masters
the Captain’s skills and functions
• A lap of the Marathon lasts
• The participants share their diet, weight and
physical activity with the Captain and the team

Structure
At the end of each day two participants are
recognised and acknowledged by the rest
of the team.
The Leader of the Day is the participant
that has lost the most weight on that
particular day.
The Lap Leader is the participant that has
lost the most weight so far.
At the end of each lap, winners are
announced in two categories: Absolute
Weight Loss (in Kilograms) and Relative
Weight Loss (as a percentage).

• You can invite friends to your team

two of your main daily meals with

can contribute to weight loss
• You will also need to follow a

keeping up with your hydration and
activity levels
• Send your morning weight to the
Captain on a daily basis
• Keep a nutrition journal
• Share your daily active lifestyle with
the team
• Apply focus, persistence and
discipline as they are the keys to
success
• Enjoy the team spirit, mutual support
and healthy competition as a way to
help you to stay motivated during the
whole Marathon
• Enjoy the process!

Your Personal Plan
• Share your nutritional habits and
general lifestyle with your Captain
• Tell them about one of your typical
days i.e., what you eat and drink
throughout the day
• Your Captain will give you
information on your personal protein
and fiber requirements. They will also
tell you about the number and
structure of your daily meals, snacks,
water intake levels, physical activity
as well your rest and sleep regime
• During the first three laps, your
programme will be adjusted and Optimised
based on your progress



Getting Started
• Download and register the Telegram app on
your mobile phone – all our active groups and
channels are there. We also share and
exchange all our tools and lots of support
materials there
• Send your picture (portrait) to your Captain to
include in the team collage
• Order your Herbalife Nutrition Programme
• Report your starting morning weight to your
Captain
• Download the Zoom app for video
conferences – we meet there regularly
• Online Parties to Recognise the Winners
• Trainings for Future Captains
Basecamp Chat

These results are after consistent, repeated ‘LAPS’ of the Marathon over a period of time. Losing Weight isnt a Sprint its a Marathon. Individual results will Vary’

need to do is to replace part of your daily meals with
